Responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver medical supplies and specimens across designated routes.
- Load and unload items using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
- Ensure proper handling of sensitive materials, adhering to safety and confidentiality protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts for each trip.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and healthcare staff to coordinate schedules and address any delivery issues.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during route driving.
- Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management, stock replenishment, and organizing supplies for delivery.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably within a healthcare or medical environment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely using manual techniques or equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with healthcare providers and clients.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures including load & unload processes and inventory handling
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
