Pay: $18.50 – $22.00 (+$2 shift differential)


Available Shifts (Monday-Friday)


1st Shift: 7:00am - 4:30pm

Position Overview:


The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse, which services multiple divisions within the company. This role involves handling various warehouse tasks such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products to ensure timely and accurate delivery. The Warehouse Associate will work closely with team members and other departments to maintain inventory accuracy and contribute to overall warehouse efficiency.




Key Responsibilities:


Receiving & Inventory Management:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying items against purchase orders and documenting any discrepancies.
  • Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper inventory control and rotation.

Order Fulfillment:

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements and company standards.
  • Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or manual processes to track and manage order status.

Shipping & Distribution:

  • Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling, packaging, and loading onto delivery vehicles.
  • Ensure that all shipping documentation is accurate and complete, including bills of lading and shipping manifests.

Quality Control:

  • Perform quality checks on products and packaging to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
  • Report any damaged or defective items and work with supervisors to address issues.

Warehouse Maintenance:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following company procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards.

Inventory Accuracy:

  • Assist in conducting periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliation with system records.
  • Update inventory records to reflect accurate stock levels and locations.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other warehouse associates and departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address any issues or concerns.

Compliance & Safety:

  • Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge related to warehouse operations.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance warehouse efficiency and effectiveness.



Qualifications:



  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling and processing inventory.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
