Kelly Services is hiring a Logistics Compliance Specialist in Farmington, CT!

If you’re analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in import/export compliance, this role offers the opportunity to support and strengthen global logistics operations. You’ll play a key role in developing compliance programs, mitigating risk, and ensuring adherence to U.S. and international trade regulations.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, document, and maintain import/export compliance policies and procedures
  • Audit and update SOPs to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs, EAR, and ITAR regulations
  • Support compliance work plans and conduct audits and process reviews
  • Assist with export licensing and documentation for international shipments
  • Support CTPAT initiatives and compliance programs
  • Train logistics teams on compliance standards and regulatory requirements
  • Investigate compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Monitor tariff classifications using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in supply chain compliance and import/export operations
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of EAR, ITAR, CTPAT, and U.S. Customs regulations
  • Experience in manufacturing or global shipping environments preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred
  • Strong communication and training skills

Schedule & Pay

  • Direct Hire Opportunity
  • Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Full-Time
  • Hybrid Schedule | 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
  • $78,000–$106,200/year DOE
