Job Description

The F-35 is designed with the entire battlespace in mind, providing unparalleled flexibility and capability to the United States and its allies. This multi-role fighter combines air-to-air combat, air-to-ground strikes, electronic attack, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance into a single platform. We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead one or more Special Access Programs (SAPs) and manage classified subcontracts.

Position Overview

As the lead for Special Access Programs, you will play a critical role in the success and security of the F-35 program by managing classified subcontract activities and ensuring compliance with government and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Special Access Program Leadership: Lead and manage one or more SAPs, ensuring alignment with program goals and security requirements.
  • Classified Subcontract Management: Oversee subcontract security management and develop processes, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Facility Operating Procedures (FOPs).
  • Liaison Responsibilities: Act as a liaison between government security customers, Supply Chain, and Program Management to facilitate communication and compliance.
  • Security Classification Specifications: Under the direction of the Security Manager for F-35 Special Access Programs, process DD-254 Security Classification Specifications and manage security requirements for the F-35 classified supplier base.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure adherence to DoD Directive 5205.07 Manual and SAR regulations, including international requirements, policies, procedures, and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Special Access Programs: Demonstrated experience working on large SAP platforms.
  • Classified Programs Expertise: Experience managing classified programs involving Foreign Nationals and handling contractual issues related to SAP administration.
  • Knowledge of Regulations: Thorough understanding of DoD Special Access Required (SAR) regulations, international requirements, and program-specific procedures.
  • Process Development: Proven ability to develop and implement effective processes for subcontract security management.

Applicant selected must possess a Secret clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to special program.
