  • Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special projects as assigned.
  • Formulate and prepare a variety of management reports, providing accurate financial data and analysis to support leadership in strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Perform job costing analysis by monitoring costs against budgets, identifying variances, and preparing cost-to-complete reports.
  • Assist project managers and operations teams with financial reporting, cost tracking, and forecasting.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal controls.
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency in project accounting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, operations) to resolve accounting issues.

  • 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the construction industry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of job costing, project accounting principles, GAAP, and general accounting practices.
  • Familiarity with percentage-of-completion revenue recognition.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar), with ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
