Apollo Home Healthcare is offering a $500 hiring bonus for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home physical therapy visits across Alameda County. This is a W-2 per diem role ideal for PTAs looking for schedule flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful patient relationships. You’ll treat patients in their homes, collaborate closely with a supervising Physical Therapist, and be supported by a local clinical team. What You’ll Do
- Provide in-home physical therapy treatments under PT supervision
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement
- Complete visit documentation in a timely manner
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the supervising PT
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program
- Active California PTA license
- CPR/BLS certification
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally around Alameda County
- Home health experience
- Experience with the Kinnser/Wellsky EMR preferred (not required)
- $30-85/hour
- Mileage reimbursement
- Cell phone reimbursement

- $500 signing bonus for per diem PTA, paid as:
- $100 after completion of your first patient visit
- $400 after 90 days of active employment, contingent on meeting role expectations and performance standards
