Abt Electronics has an immediate opening for the position of an Electronic Service Representative. We are a family owned company that has been in business since 1936 and continues to experience strong growth year after year. Abt Electronics specializes in electronics, appliance & furniture sales, delivery, installation and servicing all the products we sell. In addition, must be comfortable contributing/working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fun work environment. Primary duties include:
- Assist customers over the phone with their electronic service needs
- Basic troubleshooting & tech support for consumer electronics
- Process returns & exchanges
- Create service tickets to document customers’ needs & dispatch service techs to customers’ homes
- Assist customers with purchasing accessories, replacement parts & carry in repairs
- Basic operational knowledge of consumer electronics
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to take initiative & make decisions
- Approachable & outgoing personality
- Scheduling includes night & weekend hours
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs
- Bi-lingual a plus
- Hourly rate starting at $18.00
