Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' oral health and document clinical findings accurately
- Take and interpret dental radiographs in accordance with practice protocols
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care practices
- Identify and assist in the management of periodontal disease and other oral health concerns
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as permitted by licensure and certification
- Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards
- Collaborate with dentists and clinical staff to ensure a positive patient experience and high-quality care
- Support a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients of all ages
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the State of Tennessee
- Current CPR certification
- Certification to administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide preferred or required per state regulations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative clinical environment
- Familiarity with dental software and digital charting systems is a plus
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
- New graduates with an active Tennessee license are encouraged to apply
