Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week night shift travel contract at a 111-bed acute care teaching hospital in Kennewick, WA.

Details
  • Works across ICU, Med/Surg, NICU, and ED floors within the Cardiopulmonary department
  • Patient population spans all ages, from neonates through adults
  • Equipment used includes PB980, EV300, and Airvo
  • Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Weekend work required every other weekend
  • No on-call requirements
  • 13-week contract
Requirements
  • Associate of Arts (AA) in Respiratory Therapy required
  • Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
  • Experience with all age groups required, including response to codes from neonate through adult
  • Active RRT credential required
  • Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, and BLS (AHA certifications required)
  • License required if applicable
  • Social Security number required for consideration
  • Date of birth required for consideration
  • Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
Additional Information
  • Level II Trauma Center
  • Teaching hospital serving the Tri-Cities area of southeastern Washington
  • ICU and NICU experience is preferred
  • Any color scrubs are acceptable; scrubs are required
  • Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
  • Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
  • New employee orientation (NEO) is held on a set bi-monthly schedule throughout the year
