In this role, you will lead and oversee our Infection Prevention and Control Program while helping ensure resident safety, quality outcomes, and compliance with healthcare standards. Your Role:

• Manage and oversee the facility Infection Prevention and Control Program
• Monitor, investigate, and report healthcare-associated infections
• Conduct risk assessments and implement evidence-based infection prevention strategies
• Provide staff education and training on infection control best practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure compliance with infection prevention standards
• Deliver compassionate nursing care within your scope of practice
• Maintain accurate documentation related to infection prevention activities and resident care
• Promote a safe, restorative environment that encourages resident independence and well-being
• Support quality improvement initiatives related to infection prevention and resident safety
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management in a resident-centered care environment
  
  
  

Who We’re Looking For:

• Current Illinois LPN or RN license required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Knowledge of infection prevention, infectious diseases, or epidemiology preferred
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Dependable and professional team player with reliable attendance
• Passionate about resident safety, quality outcomes, and advancing your nursing career
