The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and creative problem-solver with expertise in digital platforms, design tools, and web technologies. This role supports and reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications and plays a key part in shaping the organization’s voice and presence across all channels.

Director of Marketing and Communications Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead integrated communications, marketing, and digital initiatives to support organizational goals
- Draft, edit, and polish professional communications, including memos, letters, newsletters, announcements, and advertising copy
- Manage shared communications inboxes and coordinate the distribution of organization-wide messages
- Ensure all messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with organizational brand standards
- Design and produce marketing and visual assets such as flyers, brochures, social media graphics, and digital advertisements
- Uphold visual identity standards and maintain high-quality, consistent branding across all platforms
- Plan, launch, monitor, and optimize Google Ads, paid social media campaigns, and SEO initiatives
- Analyze marketing performance data, identify trends, and adjust strategies to maximize impact
- Build, update, and maintain organizational websites using CMS platforms
- Design, develop, and manage SharePoint sites to support internal communication and resource sharing
- Manage and mentor the Marketing & Communications Specialist
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing & Communications and cross-functional teams to prioritize work and deliver timely, high-impact materials
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proven experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong graphic design skills; proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Ability to write, edit, and proofread professional communications.
- Experience launching and optimizing Google Ads and social media advertising campaigns.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Innovative and creative mindset to develop unique marketing strategies and materials that stand out in the competitive healthcare market.
- Highly skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other related software to create professional documents, analyze data, and deliver presentations efficiently.
- Experience designing and administering SharePoint sites.
- Experience with website building and CMS platforms.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in marketing within a long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong connections and relationships within the local healthcare market, including healthcare providers, organizations, and key community stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and various insurance payer systems
