Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, execution-focused Investment Marketing Operations Lead to serve as the end-to-end owner of the investment collateral creation and production process. This is an individual contributor role (no people management) responsible for orchestrating the quarterly production cycle for investment materials, partnering closely with Investments, Marketing, Compliance, and external vendors to ensure timely, high-quality, and compliant deliverables.
This role acts as the central quarterback for investment content production—designing and managing workflows, improving efficiency, and streamlining the quarter-end process across strategies.
Core Responsibilities
Investment Collateral Production (Primary Focus)
- Own the end-to-end process for creation, updates, and production of investment collateral, including fact sheets, commentaries, presentations, and related materials.
- Serve as the single point of coordination across Investments, Marketing, Compliance, and external design/printing partners.
- Translate inputs from investment teams into clear production plans with defined timelines, milestones, and ownership.
- Lead the quarter-end investment content production cycle, ensuring deadlines are met across all strategies.
- Identify bottlenecks, dependencies, and risks early; proactively adjust workflows to maintain timelines.
- Continuously refine and streamline quarter-end processes to reduce cycle time, rework, and manual effort.
- Design, document, and maintain standardized workflows for investment content production.
- Manage project tracking, version control, approvals, and handoffs across teams.
- Partner with Compliance to ensure all materials meet regulatory and brand standards prior to release.
- Work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, marketing, compliance, and operations to align on priorities and delivery expectations.
- Act as a trusted operational partner to the investment team, enabling them to focus on content and insights rather than logistics.
- Coordinate with external vendors to manage production schedules, revisions, and delivery quality.
- Identify opportunities to introduce tools, templates, automation, or standardization to improve efficiency.
- Develop best practices for repeatable, scalable investment content production as the platform grows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related field.
- 6–10+ years of experience in marketing operations, investment marketing, creative services, or production management—preferably within investment management, asset management, or financial services.
- Hands-on experience managing complex, deadline-driven production cycles (quarter-end experience strongly preferred).
- Strong familiarity with investment collateral types and approval workflows.
- Experience partnering with compliance and regulated content review processes.
- Exceptional project and process management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating independently.
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Process-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement approach.

About the company
Company website•Financial Services
Kayne Anderson Rudnick "KAR" is an investment advisory firm founded in 1984 to manage capital for its founders, including John Anderson (member of the Forbes 400 and benefactor of UCLA's Anderson School of Management). With offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Newport Beach, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Scottsdale, Denver, Boston, Providence and Westlake Village. KAR has over $50.6 Billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2026, focused on institutional, broker-dealer and high-net-worth clients.
At KAR we offer a variety of actively managed equity and fixed-income strategies. Our investment philosophy focuses on the “high-quality” subset of the investable universe. We believe this emphasis on high-quality securities, anchored by fundamental research, will achieve attractive risk-adjusted returns for clients over a complete market cycle.
For equity securities, we define “high-quality” as a business characteristic that represents a company’s ability to control its market. This investment philosophy leads us to companies which we believe have low business risk as identified by certain financial characteristics, such as consistent and profitable growth, high returns on capital, strong free cash flow, and low organic need for external financing. We apply a “business analyst” approach to research and strive toward developing deep conviction in each of our portfolio holdings and, over time, an information advantage. For fixed income securities, our approach centers around an exclusive focus on high-quality bonds, intermediate maturities to mitigate interest-rate risk, highly liquid issues, a commitment to economic sector and maturity distribution, and a long-term vision.
