Major Job Responsibilities
- Conducting research in art history, archaeology, and related fields using library resources, special collections, and digital databases
- Supporting project development by organizing and documenting materials, compiling bibliographies, identifying and requesting relevant publications, and conducting literature reviews
- Requesting images for exhibitions and publications and obtains necessary copyright permissions
- Proofreading, editing, and translating project materials as needed
- Assisting with the creation of project websites and PowerPoint presentations
- Performing additional tasks as assigned to support the overall research goals of the scholar
- Bachelor’s degree in art history, archaeology, classics, history, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 0-2 years research experience (education may be considered)
- Working knowledge in at least one foreign language preferred

- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to balance multiple assignments simultaneously with accuracy and professionalism
- Demonstrated research experience in academic or museum settings
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on long-term projects

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, research databases (such as JSTOR or Artstor), and citation management tools (such as Zotero or EndNote)
