The Editor and Publisher is a full-time, on-site role located in Miami Lakes, FL. This role involves overseeing the publication process from planning and content creation to final execution, ensuring high editorial standards. Responsibilities include curating, editing, and publishing content, managing teams of writers and designers, and ensuring adherence to deadlines. The Editor and Publisher will also develop and implement content strategies, coordinate with stakeholders, and manage the overall production schedule.
- Proven experience in editing, content creation, and publication management
- Strong proofreading, copy editing, and quality control skills
- Competence in content strategy development and team leadership
- Solid understanding of content marketing and audience engagement strategies
- Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in digital publishing tools and platforms
- Ability to oversee multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with the publishing industry and current media trends
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field
- Experience in community-focused publications or real estate and agriculture industries is a plus
