Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN. This role requires developing CMS features, creating APIs, and supporting integrations across digital asset systems.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $53.00 per hour

Developer Job Responsibilities Include
- Develop CMS features and backend components using Java and Apache Sling to support content‑driven applications.
- Build and maintain content components, templates, and structured content models for scalable delivery.
- Create and manage REST APIs to deliver content across web, mobile, and headless channels.
- Work with content repositories and ensure efficient retrieval, organization, and governance of digital content.
- Support integrations with digital asset systems (DAM) and other related platforms.
- Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and enhance stability of content management applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in content management or backend development roles.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in Java, Apache Sling, and CMS‑driven application development.
- Proven ability to work with REST APIs, structured content models, and integrations with digital asset management (DAM) systems.
