All tasks must be conducted in English & Spanish: Conduct legal due diligence of complex corporate, financing and project documents for acquisitions, development, financing and other transaction as counsel to service providers, buyers, sellers, financing parties and other investors; prepare diligence documentation and draft transaction documents to the foregoing persons and entities in connection with acquisitions, development, financing and other transactions involving assets primarily in the LATAM region; prepare legal due diligence reports and mgmt board presentation materials; bilingual negotiation of terms & conditions of the transactions with opposing parties and their counsels; prepare and comment on transaction documents and other documents based on the agreed terms from negotiations; review and comment on security and collateral documents and governed by local laws of the relevant jurisdiction in the LATAM region and supervise local counsel with the process for creation, registration and perfection of security interests in the relevant jurisdiction. Hunton permits employees to work remotely part-time from their residence so long as that is within normal commuting distance, or within the same metro statistical area. Min requirements: a JD (or equivalent) degree, license to practice in civil law jurisdiction in at least one LATAM country, and 5 years of relevant experience practicing law. EOE M/F/D/V.
