- We have an opening for a CONTROLLER - NEW YORK, NEW YORK position.

- Pay Range: $100,000 - $110,000
The Controller will oversee financial operations for one of our multiâfaceted client locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong business acumen, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to build effective working relationships across the organization. This role requires a detailâoriented individual with a proven background in financial reporting, cash management, and operational accounting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and ensure compliance with all cashâhandling procedures
- Perform reconciliation and analysis for multiple balance sheet accounts
- Analyze financial results for internal leadership and external stakeholders
- Manage monthly profit and loss activity and balance sheet performance
- Develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities
- Review general ledger activity and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Research and resolve accounting and reconciliation discrepancies
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support internal and external audits, including preparation and distribution of required documentation
- Maintain inventory controls and costâmanagement procedures
- Oversee payroll processing and support Human Resources administrative functions
- Perform additional duties and special projects assigned
- Bachelorâs degree in accounting preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue control, financial reporting, and cashâhandling responsibilities, including at least 3 years in a similar role
- Accounting experience within the foodservice or retail industry required; foodservice operations experience is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with sales analysis and financial reporting
- Strong ability to plan, organize, and manage complex processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective working relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel; POS system experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
