A warm, thoughtful TriBeCa family is seeking a professional, emotionally intelligent nanny for a 1 year fixed term role beginning in mid July. The role is primarily focused on a newborn infant girl and toddler boy, while the older children already have significant support systems in place. This is a collaborative, respectful, fully staffed household that values professionalism, communication, and creating a positive environment for everyone in the home.

The Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM
• 50 hours guaranteed weekly
• Summer 2026 includes generous paid time off, with a similar extended break during Christmas and New Year.

The Child(ren):

• 4 children, listed youngest to oldest:
• A newborn infant girl
• A toddler boy, just under 2
• 2 school aged boys who attend school full time from 8 AM to 3 PM
• The role is primarily focused on the infant girl and toddler boy, as the older children already have support in place.
• The older children are in school during the day and are rarely all home at the same time.
• There is additional support for the older children with activities and playdates.
• The toddler boy has his own nanny on Monday and Thursday afternoons after school and nap.

The Family:

• This is a warm, thoughtful family entering a new chapter as they prepare for a planned move to Connecticut in July 2027.

• A part time housekeeper visits twice weekly, and there are additional nannies and chaperones involved with the children.

The Role:

• This role is ideal for a career nanny who excels with infants and toddlers and enjoys bringing calm structure and fun to busy households.
• Responsibilities center on attentive infant care, supporting toddler development, age appropriate activities, outings, and maintaining routines.
• There are strong support systems in place within the home, as the parents value happy and rested employees who help bring positive energy and fun into the household.
• The family batch cooks food, so occasionally preparing and freezing pancakes for breakfasts may be helpful.
• The family also uses a meal delivery service, Stocked by Three Owls, so mealtimes are often heating or plating prepared meals.
• They eat cleanly and simply, with pastas, grains, and fresh fruit regularly available throughout the week.
• Food responsibilities for the children will primarily fall under your purview, though the parents and additional support staff are collaborative and ready to pitch in.
• Your main focus will consistently remain on ensuring the younger 2 children have what they need.
• Monday through Thursday, you will take the toddler boy to school, located about a 5 minute walk away, and pick him up at noon.
• Mom handles Fridays.
• During the mornings, you will typically be with baby girl and may enjoy outings such as walks along the waterfront or visits to Cocoon, a nearby private play space.
• On Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, you will care for both the toddler boy and baby girl together.
• Both children nap, allowing time to tidy up, restock the diaper bag, and reset for the remainder of the day.
• On Mondays and Thursdays, the toddler boy’s other nanny resumes care after school and nap.

• You are a professional, warm, and emotionally intelligent nanny who enjoys working with young children and understands household dynamics.

The Pay & Benefits:

• $120k to $131k annually
• Equivalent base hourly rate of approximately $42 to $46 hourly
• 50 guaranteed hours weekly
• Overtime paid for hours worked over 40
