We are working with a state regulatory body dedicated to safeguarding consumers and ensuring a fair and transparent insurance marketplace.

The Role

  • Independently analyze and evaluate contracts to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Interpret complex contract language and assess adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Apply relevant regulations, federal requirements, and case law to support consistent regulatory decisions.
  • Identify compliance issues, deficiencies, and provisions that do not meet regulatory requirements.
  • Develop clear, well-reasoned recommendations for bringing contracts into compliance.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues on contract review issues impacting the broader insurance marketplace.

What You'll Need

  • Six years of professional full-time experience in contract management, legal document review, or regulatory compliance.
  • Or a combination of education (Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's degree in public administration, business administration, law, finance, or related field) and relevant experience (2-5 years depending on degree).
  • Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including insurers, providers, and attorneys.
