JOB SUMMARY

The Center Manager is responsible for the overall smooth operation and provision of patient services. Responsibilities are inclusive of reporting to higher management and acting as liaisons between administrative support and senior management.


PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  1. Provide a courteous and professional environment for patients and staff
  2. Patient interactions
  3. Overseeing the daily operations of the Center
  4. Verification of daily bank deposit and petty cash
  5. Managing patient flow and productivity
  6. Distributing incoming mail to the appropriate persons
  7. Overseeing the Center's physical condition
  8. Attending and contributing to management planning meetings and Site Supervisor meetings
  9. Verification of Patient Services Representative's data entry
  10. Research patient medical records and respond to insurance and other correspondences
  11. Scan and import documents into patient charts
  12. Provide assistance to the Providers when necessary
  13. Be a part of the end of day closing process; check out the last patient of the day if applicable
  14. Interview and make determinations regarding patients in need of special accommodations or payment arrangements.
  15. Provide guidance on facilitating translation services for patients and providers as requested.
  16. Complete Individual Staff development via the completion of 1:1 sessions
  17. Collaborate with the clinical manager to provide overall team building activities throughout the location
  18. Recruitment and retention of staff
  19. Maintain open lines of communication between clerical and clinical staff
  20. Covering shift of PSR when they are absent
  21. Maintaining financial oversight and reporting in compliance with the company directives
  22. Make the necessary billing corrections
  23. Order, stock, and control inventory of office supplies through the use of purchase orders
  24. Traveling to other True Health sites as needed to provide departmental support
  25. Serve as center liaison at various community events
  26. Collaborate with community partners to facilitate patient care within their center
  27. Participate in special projects aimed at maximizing the overall departmental efficiency
  28. Other responsibilities as assigned


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience
  2. Minimum five years' work experience in health care setting
  3. Seven to ten years direct supervisory experience in a similar setting


PREFERRED EDUCATION

1. Master's Degree


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  1. Three years minimum experience in Health Practice management required
  2. Computer competency is required
  3. Ability to follow directions precisely with attention to detail
  4. Ability to relate well to people


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bilingual a plus (English / Spanish)


REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

  1. Reports to the Regional Director of Operations


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Ability to sit, stand and or walk for extended periods of time
  2. Ability to view a computer screen for extended periods of time
  3. Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions for extended periods of time
