Job Overview – Financial Reporting Manager

Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000/year + bonus

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Atlantic Group is hiring a Financial Reporting Manager in Philadelphia, PA for our client, supporting financial reporting, corporate accounting, and financial planning activities within a growing organization. This role focuses on managing the financial reporting process, supporting acquisitions and integration efforts, and partnering with leadership on budgeting and analysis. The position offers strong exposure to senior executives and a clear path for advancement into leadership roles.

Responsibilities as the Financial Reporting Manager:

  • Financial Reporting: Manage preparation and delivery of monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
  • Corporate Accounting: Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
  • FP&A Support: Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Acquisition Integration: Assist with accounting and financial integration for acquisitions.
  • Process Improvement: Enhance reporting processes and strengthen internal controls.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams on financial initiatives.

Qualifications for the Financial Reporting Manager:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, CPA certification is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience is required, with public accounting experience preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting is required.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and proficiency in Excel is required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.
