PROVAIL has an exciting opportunity for a Community Inclusion Supervisor to join our team! Reporting to the Home and Community Supports Operations Manager, this position will assist and support clients’ individualized skill development, independent living, and community integration so individuals can learn how to actively and independently engage in their local community.
This is a full-time position that typically works Monday-Friday during normal business hours but may require some need for occasional nights/weekends-based business needs.

Client Interaction
- Assist clients with the development of their initial community inclusion plan through a person-centered approach and submit semi-annual progress reports.
- Provide community inclusion support to individuals.
- Communicate with participants, families, and DDCS staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure that all services provided are consistent with the community inclusion plan and must include a specific goal and information about the client’s skills, interests, gifts, and preferred activities.
- Assist the client with locating and initially engaging in activities that support socialization, education, recreation, and personal development for the purpose of building and strengthening relationships with others in the local community who are not paid to be with the person. This is done through a framework of recognizing that for all people, inclusion in community life is critical to a positive life experience.
- Manage the acceptance process for new clients coming into service. First-level creation and review of billing documents for invoicing purposes.
- Responsible for meeting key performance indicators, some budget management, some forecasting, and tracking overall caseload management and growth.
- Oversee operations in King and Pierce counties.
- Act as a champion for agency Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts, particularly focusing on how the agency can support the needs of BIPOC clients and staff.
- Interview, train, and develop Community Inclusion Coordinators.
- Oversee the work of Community Inclusion Coordinators, ensuring appropriate productivity and quality through frequent feedback.
- Ensure Community Inclusion Coordinators follow PROVAIL policies, as well as DDCS policies and procedures.
- Make recommendations for personnel actions, including performance management and promotion.

- Associate's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers, clients and their families, home staff, employers, funding sources, and the community.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional demeanor.
- Successful completion of a criminal history background check.
- Driving is required. Possession of a current and valid Washington driver's license with a good driving record, access to a vehicle, and maintenance of insurance acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier.
- Familiarity with the community in which the participant resides, including knowledge of community organizations, informal clubs, community projects, and businesses.
