What’s a Clinical Assistant?

Ever wanted hands-on clinical experience in the world of healthcare? Clinical Assistant is a vital, hands-on member of the care team who works directly with patients and providers in clinics, hospitals, and specialty practices. This is the fastest, most respected way to gain paid, patient-facing clinical experience before medical, nursing, or PA school: you’ll log hundreds of hours of direct patient contact, master clinical skills that admissions committees love, build strong letters of recommendation from physicians and nurses who work with you daily, and discover firsthand whether the clinical side of healthcare is your calling.
