What you'll be doing
As a Radiologic Technologist, You’ll Operate Radiographic And Fluoroscopic Equipment To Produce High‑quality Diagnostic Images Under The Direct Order Of a Physician. You’ll Support Multiple Clinical Areas Across The Hospital, Including
- Emergency Department
- Operating Room
- Pediatrics
- Fluoroscopy
- Portable Imaging
- Outpatient Procedures
- Producing clear, accurate radiographs and maintaining strong image quality using radiologic or magnetic imaging equipment.
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures; communicating any changes or abnormalities promptly.
- Adjusting equipment per protocols, performing minor maintenance, and reporting major issues.
- Documenting diagnostic information accurately within the electronic medical record.
- Working closely with physicians and specialists in reviewing imaging findings.
- Setting proper exposure, angles, and distances according to exam specifications.
- Reviewing orders, preparing equipment, and prioritizing workflow to ensure efficiency.
- Explaining procedures in a clear, calming way to support patient understanding and ease anxiety.
