Worldscape is a cutting-edge platform designed to unify distributed data, sensors, and intelligent agents across cloud, on-prem, and edge environments. By combining geospatial intelligence, physics-based 3D simulation, and reward-driven AI, Worldscape enables organizations to build immersive digital twins for predictive modeling, scenario planning, and adaptive decision-making. With a zero-trust security framework, seamless integration with legacy systems, and robust developer tools, Worldscape empowers rapid deployment of agentic applications that drive resilience and efficiency in sectors like logistics, telecom, defense, and infrastructure.

Worldscape is looking for a passionate and motivated Game Developer to join its expanding team. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow while working on interactive, high-quality game experiences built on modern engines and tools. We are at the forefront of AI decision making, working with the latest state-of-the-art distributed architecture and data management techniques, ensuring our platform can offer the right AI decision making for all our customers, from the individual app developer to large enterprise customers, and enable Agentic Integration across our AI fabric.

As a Junior Game Developer, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers, designers, artists, and product partners to implement gameplay features, mechanics, and systems across the game stack. You will contribute to building reliable, performant code while developing your skills in game programming, debugging, and live collaboration within a fast-paced environment.

This is an onsite role that will be located in Redmond, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Implement gameplay features, mechanics, and systems under guidance from senior developers.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining core game logic, tools, and player-facing functionality.
  • Collaborate with designers and artists to translate creative ideas into working game features.
  • Debug and resolve gameplay, performance, and stability issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Contribute to sprint planning, task estimation, and agile development workflows.
  • Write clear documentation for implemented features and systems.
  • Continuously learn and apply best practices in game development, performance optimization, and player experience.

Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Computer Science, Game Development, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in game development, internships, academic projects, or personal/game jam projects.
  • Experience programming in C++, C#, or similar languages, ideally within a game engine environment (Unity, Unreal, or equivalent).
  • Basic understanding of game loops, gameplay mechanics, and real-time systems.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, ask questions, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Passion for games and a strong desire to grow as a game developer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Modern Game Engines through coursework, projects, or internships.
  • Exposure to areas such as physics, animation systems, UI implementation, or gameplay scripting.
  • Understanding of agile development practices and sprint-based delivery.
  • A portfolio, GitHub repository, or demo projects showcasing gameplay or technical contributions.

$90,000 - $120,000 a year

Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and equity awards.
