Job Description

Fidelity Architecture and Engineering is looking for an experienced security architect to support the Fidelity Wealth business unit. As a Director of Architecture, you will lead the development and maintenance of security architectures, policies, and standards. You will participate in architecture review boards, conduct risk assessments and reviews, and collaborate across business, engineering, and architecture teams design and build robust and secure systems.

The Expertise And Skills You Bring

An ideal candidate will have a solid computer science foundation, an effective combination of interpersonal and technical skills, and a passion for security demonstrated through skills and prior work history.

  • 15+ years of architecture / software development experience
  • Deep knowledge of network, cloud (AWS & Azure), and API security
  • A prior background in software engineering and architecture
  • Proficiency in the secure software delivery lifecycle and DevSecOps practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • (Preferred) CISSP, CISM, or CCSP certification
  • Familiarity with financial services regulations (SEC/FFIEC)
