Job Purpose

Responsible for assembly and/or scanning of small or medium sized parts, fitting and/or adjustment of interrelated parts and/or assembly, adjustment and/or repair of sub-assemblies and major assemblies per process sheets. Could also be responsible for teardown, cleaning and reassemble of refurbs.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintains proper quality and quantities of manufactured materials.
  • Operate small equipment such as presses, magnetizing/demagnetizing equipment, scanners.
  • Perform SPC on all related jobs as required.
  • Operate degreasing systems as required.
  • Able to set-up equipment where applicable.
  • Able to calibrate and zero equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Use general measuring instruments, such as indicator, calipers, and height gages.
  • Rotate from one job to another if needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation.
  • Follows all established company policies
  • Follows all established safety procedures and precautions. Including filing incident/accident reports.
  • Notifies Supervisor of all unsafe/hazardous conditions or defective equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Be able to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Previous employed in a production environment helpful.
  • Able to communicate.
  • Math aptitude.
  • Mechanical capabilities helpful.

Working conditions

  • May be exposed to industrial oils, toner, coolants, solvents, lubricants, adhesive and other chemicals. NOTE: All safety precautions will be used.
  • Plant wide climate control and air conditioning
  • Could work in areas with excessive noise. NOTE: Ear protection available.
  • Certain jobs extremely dirty. NOTE: Smocks or work outfits provided.

Physical Requirements

  • Could require intermittent and long periods of sitting and/or standing.
  • Required to do repetitive work.
  • Periodic lifting of materials not to exceed 50 pounds.

Mon-Thurs: 5:30am-3:00pm

Fri: 5:30am-9:30am
