
Working within a team, the Distribution Associate accurately performs distribution center duties and completes all assigned tasks productively with a high regard for quality.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieve all packaging, shipping, receiving, cycle counting and picking, inbound/outbound and pack-out metric standards
- Create and maintain culture of safety, teamwork, and ethical business practices
- Notify DC Leadership of any unsafe conditions within their work area
- Ensure compliance to GDP, GMP, UL Certification, HazMat Regulations
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Use Voice/RF devices to accurately locate and move material for accurate tracking
- Perform all DC activities including, but not limited to Picking, Packing, Shipping, Receiving and Inventory (All activities must adhere to all associated BOPs and SOPs)
- Handling customer communications internally and externally
- Assist with internal training of process and procedures
- Effective and professional communication and collaboration at all times
- Adhere to corporate and/or site policies and procedures
- Demonstrates initiative and reliability with all job functions, self-starter
- Requires minimal guidance for all the above duties and responsibilities
- Proficient in 75% of DC functions and an outlet for questions from other floor staff on processes and job functions
- Eager to collaborate with problem solving ideas for issues encountered in the day-to-day
- Research and investigate to rectify missing or incorrect product information
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in a high-volume Distribution Center
- Ability to accurately enter and look up information in computer
- Basic Understanding of distribution principles
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to multi-task
- Basic math skills and logical reasoning
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Warehouse environment subject to variable temperature and noise levels
- Ability and willingness to obtain a forklift certification if needed (training is provided)
