Overview
We are looking to add an Accounting Clerk I to our team in San Antonio. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing.
The right person will be organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Handle daily AP and AR tasks such as data entry, posting, and filing
- Assist with processing product and service contracts
- Support monthly billing activities
- Help research and resolve accounting-related questions or discrepancies
- Assist with maintaining and improving internal accounting processes
- Support the team with various accounting tasks, including expense report review
- Provide backup for incoming calls and assist with general inquiries as needed
- At least 2 years of accounting experience
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Working knowledge of AP/AR processes and general accounting concepts
- Experience with accounting systems (Acumatica is a plus)
- Comfortable using standard Windows-based programs
