RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Process Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with operations to perform value stream mapping, conduct time motion study to identify opportunities for work processes improvements, suggest quality and productivity improvement measures to enhance operational efficiency
  • Perform lean six sigma review to map current state, capture team utilization and throughput to identify Non-Value Adds (NVA), process gaps and redundancies, hand-offs and perform cost benefit analysis for deploying process improvement initiatives
  • Create and periodically review metrics to capture operational performance more efficiently
  • Provide guidance to project/program managers on most effective, efficient use of resources to ensure consistent productivity across teams
  • Analyze and interpret complex process data to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes of issues
  • Leads and facilitates cross-functional, collaborative teams in business improvement and development initiatives guidelines to optimize the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the process
  • Utilizes broad knowledge of customers, products and processes to support business problem analysis and determine the best methodology to resolve defect or issue
  • Analyzes processes to identify areas of improvement and provide appropriate analytics to facilitate business effort prioritization
  • Serves as a support resource for team members
  • Recommends automated solution where applicable and advises, consults and facilitates the customer to applicable technology
  • Uses data and structured thinking to develop and evaluate alternatives to solve complex, non-standard business problems
  • Identifies and validates process improvement opportunities using statistical methods

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applies knowledge of the business and process engineering discipline to optimize business performance
  • Working knowledge of Aris & Business Process Management.
  • Process mapping experience
  • Lean tools and methodology - Eliminating waste, standardizing processes, analyzing cost & benefits, root cause analysis, etc.
  • Facilitate process improvement sessions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and management
  • Persuasion skills to advocate for change in existing practices
  • Working knowledge of lean deployment
  • Working knowledge, in-sight and experience of all P&C's current insurance landscape & business processes
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles
  • Process design & optimization techniques
  • Experience in large Enterprise environments and/or Personal Lines Insurance
  • Experience with process and task mining

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
