*Job Summary and Responsibilities*

As a *Oncology Registered Nurse (RN)*, you'll provide exceptional, compassionate *patient-centered care* within our specialized oncology team.

Every day you will collaborate on comprehensive screenings, conduct critical risk assessments, provide vital preventative health education, and expertly coordinate care for diverse patient populations, leveraging technology to streamline processes. You'll ensure patients feel informed and at ease, patiently guiding them through instructions and addressing their concerns.

To be successful in this role, you'll need robust *oncology clinical knowledge*, technological proficiency, and genuine compassion. Strong *oncology communication skills*, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning are vital for this impactful role. We seek a proactive RN dedicated to *quality cancer care*, embodying our commitment to *patient advocacy* and positive healthcare experiences.

Job Responsibilities

  • Daily, you'll conduct comprehensive *oncology patient assessments*, perform critical *risk evaluations*, provide essential *cancer prevention education*, and expertly coordinate complex *cancer care plans*.
  • Your responsibilities include patient/family orientation, continuous care plan adaptation based on growth and developmental needs, and leveraging technology for stream-lined processes, ensuring optimal *patient support* and understanding.

*Job Requirements**Required:*

  • One (1) year of experience in the area of specialty. Please note: We are currently unable to train RNs without a minimum of six (6) months of acute care experience; new graduates are not eligible.
  • Current California RN License
  • AHA-BLS (American Heart Association - Basic Life Support
