Are you a hands-on scientist with a passion for Oligonucleotide analysis and method development? We are seeking an Analytical Chemistry Scientist II to join our team in San Diego, CA for a 1-year onsite contract with long-term potential.
The Role
Working within our Analytical Method Development and Transfer Group, you will develop, validate, and transfer methods supporting oligonucleotide synthesis, release testing, and raw material qualification.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Method Development: Optimize and validate methods for oligonucleotides and reagents.
- Lab Execution: Design and execute experiments with minimal supervision.
- Data Analysis: Interpret results and troubleshoot unexpected analytical outcomes.
- Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to GMP/GDP and quality standards.
- Documentation: Author study protocols, reports, and assay work instructions.
Qualifications
- Education: BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in method development and validation.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in HPLC, LC-MS, UV-Vis, NMR, and CE.
- Niche Skillset: Direct experience in the characterization and testing of oligonucleotides.
- Soft Skills: Strong multi-tasker with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Location: San Diego, CA (100% Onsite).
- Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexibility for early/late hours required).
- Compensation: Up to $45.00/hr.
