Senior Associate Attorney

Purpose:


The Senior Associate Attorney will work in our firm’s California Foreclosure Trustee Litigation Department, and will primarily manage defensive litigation work related to foreclosure trustees.


Specific Duties & Responsibilities:


• Manage cases from inception to completion


• Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies


• Draft court pleadings, defense of motions


• Handle discovery


• Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person


• Other duties and special projects as needed


Job Requirements:


• Bachelor's Degree


• Juris Doctor from accredited law school


• Five to Ten years of experience in the practice of law, preferably litigation, real estate or mortgage law


• Admission to practice law in the state of California. Admission to practice law in the state of Utah preferred but not required.


• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written


• Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet


• Ability to manage and prioritize your caseload
