Addison Group is partnering with a global consumer goods organization to hire a Demand Planning Coordinator to support its U.S. supply chain and forecasting function. The team is focused on improving demand accuracy, strengthening cross-functional collaboration, and supporting growth across multiple well-known product lines. This role sits within a collaborative planning organization with both U.S. and international partners.
Job Description:
The Demand Planning Coordinator will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts, analyzing key business drivers, and partnering across sales, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure product availability. This role requires strong analytical capability, experience with forecasting tools, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain demand forecasts across multiple product categories using planning systems (SAP IBP or similar)
- Analyze sales trends, promotions, seasonality, and new product launches to improve forecasting accuracy
- Partner with sales, manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain teams to support inventory and product availability
- Support initiatives to improve forecast accuracy, service levels, and planning processes
- Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and cross-functional teams
- Assist in planning and execution of new SKU introductions and distribution strategies
- Serve as a subject matter resource for demand planning insights
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, forecasting, or related field
- At least 1 year of retail or consumer-facing demand planning experience preferred
- Strong experience with forecasting systems (SAP IBP strongly preferred)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with ability to work independently when needed
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays required + 1 flexible day)
