Our client, a leading global travel and hospitality, is looking to hire a Airtable Operations Manager in United States. (Remote)

Pay Rate Range: $65/hr to $75/hr W2 depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and tool requirements.
  • Design, build, and maintain Airtable bases, interfaces, automations, and workflows.
  • Create reporting dashboards and operational tools that improve team productivity.
  • Manage projects from requirements gathering through testing, deployment, and adoption.
  • Troubleshoot data issues and improve data quality across systems.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business Technology teams.
  • Help determine when a solution should stay in Airtable versus move to a more scalable engineering platform.
  • Support ongoing optimization of existing Airtable environments and reduce technical debt.

Requirements:

  • The manager is looking for someone who is more than just an Airtable user. They want someone who can:
  • Build scalable Airtable solutions from scratch.
  • Understand data structure and system design.
  • Work directly with business stakeholders.
  • Solve ambiguous operational problems.
  • Make recommendations on system architecture.
  • Improve and optimize existing workflows.
  • Work independently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Preferred / Nice to Have
  • Experience researching AI, machine learning, or generative AI products.
  • Experience working on Search, knowledge discovery, or information retrieval products.
  • Previous experience supporting Google teams or products.
  • Experience researching desktop/web-based user experiences.
  • Must-Have Skills Airtable Expertise Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Airtable schema design
  • Automations
  • Interfaces
  • Syncs
  • Scripting
  • Airtable AI
  • Candidates should be comfortable working with large, complex Airtable environments and quickly understanding existing workflows. Business Systems & Operations Experience:
  • Gathering requirements
  • Managing cross-functional projects
  • Supporting business operations teams
  • Building process improvements
  • Data & Reporting Strong experience with:
  • Excel / Google Sheets
  • Data analysis
  • Reporting dashboards
  • Data validation
  • SQL Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge preferred. The role does not require advanced SQL development, but candidates should be comfortable:
  • Reading queries
  • Understanding joins and filters
  • Validating data
  • Troubleshooting reporting issues
  • Light Technical Skills Experience with:
  • JavaScript or Node.js scripting
  • Workflow automation
  • System integrations
  • The manager emphasized that coding is helpful but this is not a software engineering role.
