
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Channel Sales Analyst in Alviso, CA.
Overview:
We are seeking a Channel Data & Insights Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and operational workflows across the channel organization. This role requires strong Excel skills, intermediate Power BI capabilities, and an understanding of the channel ecosystem. The Analyst will manage data imports, develop dashboards for field teams, coordinate with business managers, and support execution across a large, complex project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Data & Reporting:
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards used by the field, ensuring data is accurate, refreshed, and accessible
- Manage data preparation, imports, and transformation activities required for Power BI reporting
- Utilize intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, data cleaning) to prepare datasets and track performance metrics
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and insights for channel leadership and business managers
- Support a large-scale business initiative by managing task lists, follow-ups, and cross-functional coordination
- Own action items: reach out to business managers and coordinate with channel partners/distributors as needed
- Assist with project planning, tracking milestones, and updating stakeholders
- Create PowerPoint presentations summarizing insights, progress updates, and business recommendations
- Work closely with business managers, channel operations, and field teams to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable tools
- Gather requirements for new dashboards or enhancements
- Ensure consistent communication and timely execution of deliverables
- Knowledge of the channel space (distribution partners, channel sales motions) - must have
- Intermediate Power BI skills (building dashboards, publishing reports, managing data sets)
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Experience with large or complex projects; ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong communication skills and ability to interface with business managers and external partners/distributors
- Experience working in channel programs within technology or distribution-heavy industries
- Background in data analytics or business operations
- Familiarity with CRM or channel management tools (optional)

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
