Job Description:
Altera is seeking a Senior Revenue Manager! The Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of revenue recognition and reporting in a complex, high-volume semiconductor environment. This position ensures compliance with ASC 606, drives scalable processes, and partners cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Legal, and Finance to support business growth while maintaining strong internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Accounting, Closing & Reporting
- Lead the global revenue accounting function ensuring compliance with ASC 606
- Analyze complex arrangements including multi-element contracts, distributor sales, rebates, and other variable consideration
- Oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and revenue analytics
- Partner with FP&A and Sales Operations for reporting, forecasting and business insights
- Provide insights into revenue trends, margin impacts, and key business drivers to senior leadership and investors
- Drive automation and ERP enhancements
- Champion data integrity, analytics, and real-time reporting capabilities.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to handle high-volume, high-complexity semiconductor transactions.
- Serve as the primary liaison with auditors on revenue matters
- Ensure readiness for SEC reporting requirements, including disclosures.
- Ensure SOX compliance within the order-to-cash process
- Lead, mentor, and scale a global revenue accounting organization
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field
- CPA preferred
- 10+ years of accounting experience
- Strong ASC 606 expertise
- 5+ years leadership experience
- Semiconductor, hardware, or manufacturing experience
- ERP experience (Oracle Fusion)
- Strong understanding of:
- Channel/distribution ecosystem
- Supply chain and inventory flows
- High-volume transaction environments
