Job Description

Intern/COOP in CONTRACT MANAGEMENT:

Responsibilities

Contract Management provides support for the execution of complex equipment orders and extended scope, domestic Power Plant contracts, as part of a Contract Management team, whose responsibilities include:

• contract analysis, interpretation of project commercial issues to closure.

• creating and maintaining databases for tariff recovery
  
  

Qualifications

• Enrolled in College pursuing a Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
  
  
• Minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to use AI tools
  
  
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills including development of presentations.
  
  
• Ability to handle many complex issues concurrently.
  
  
• Computer-literate, including preparation of detailed Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint presentations.
  
  
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Contract Management team
  
  
• Organize legacy Contract documents
  
  
• Maintain tariff database to enable tariff recovery from customers
  
  
• Support assigned Contracts in execution
  
  
• Special projects as assigned
  
  

Languages

• An excellent level of written and spoken English.

The pay for this position ranges from $22/hr. - 30/hr. based on years of undergraduate/graduate field of study completed.

This Position Is Also Eligible For

• Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
  
  
• Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.
