Minimum Requirements
Effective: 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
Location: Transportation - Broadway & Kino Parkway Area
FTE: 1.0 – 8 hours per day
Work Calendar: 12 month
7 positions
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Minimum Requirements
- Four years of skilled automotive or equipment (mechanical and electrical) repair experience OR
- Two (2) Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications or twelve (12) semester credit hours of post high school general education studies or trade school studies in mechanics.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid Arizona Driver’s license
- Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
- FBI fingerprint background check.
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
- Physical Examination with lift test (Category B) by one of the clinics with which the District contracts and complete and sign a Medical History form.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), with Air Brake, endorsement within 90 days of hire.
- CDL training is provided by the district during the initial 90 days of employment.
- Must hold a current Arizona Driver’s license and have accrued no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
- Arizona Dept. of Transportation (ADOT) Medical Certificate and ADEQ emissions (non-diesel and diesel) testing certificate required within 90 days of hire.
- Bloodborne Pathogen training offered by TUSD Risk Management Department.
