Job Summary:

Operating Room (OR) Circulating Registered Nurse Walla Walla, WA. This role supports surgical services by serving as the circulating nurse, assisting with case readiness and perioperative workflow across multiple service lines. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, with variable start times (07:0015:30 or 11:3019:30); minimum 40 hours per week. On-call is required: one weeknight per week and one weekend every 6 weeks (weekend coverage via call only).
  
• Required Qualifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 1 year of previous charge experience; valid Washington (WA) or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at time of submission); previous OR circulating experience; proficiency with Epic (charting system experience required).
  
• Preferred Qualifications: Preference for Operating Room (OR) charge experience.
  
• Responsibilities:

  • Provide circulating support for surgical cases including General OR and specialty procedures such as C-sections, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, and other listed services.
    
  • Support adherence to Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure for surgical safety.
    
  • Be prepared to float within the facility as needed across units.

  • Callback expectations apply when on call: callback within 20 minutes and remaining within the callback time.
    
  • While primary assignments may include General OR and specialty services, the Operating Room (OR) team supports obstetrics (C-sections) on call as well.
