Seeking a Special Education teacher to organize and implement a technology-based program supporting students with IEPs and 504 Plans in middle school mathematics.

  • Create a positive classroom culture fostering achievement and student ownership.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to support student learning.
  • Deliver daily, standards-aligned instruction with engaging, hands-on activities.
  • Design an appealing, resource-rich environment highlighting student work.
  • Communicate effectively with students and families about progress and needs.
  • Work with school staff and participate in professional development to enhance instruction.
  • Develop and implement SMART goals for IEPs and 504 Plans, maintaining all related documentation.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, two years of special education teaching experience preferred, excellent communication skills, and relevant certification or exam completion. A Master's degree and ongoing professional development are a plus. Salary is commensurate with experience.
