The Position

The Vice President of Zenith Tech, Inc. is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the operations across the entire division. This position reports to the Executive Vice President of Operations and manages leaders who are responsible for executing on private and public projects and the day-to-day operations. This position is responsible for the bridge, industrial, alternative delivery, solar, and electrical operations and includes leadership for all administration and construction functions within Zenith Tech's area of operations.

This leadership position partners with the EVP, Chief Operating Officer to create a strategic plan to deliver quality, high service and value-add work within the private and public work portfolio. This position is essential to ensuring strong integration and alignment across all Walbec Group companies.

• Keep safety as a core value and an integral component of the culture throughout ZTI.
• Develop the strategy to deliver high-quality construction management services, including EPC, CMGC and Design Build projects throughout the Upper Midwest.
• Lead the ZTI management team that executes day-to-day operations; facilitate the planning and execution of all work with the construction, engineering, and other functional support groups. Ensure due diligence, budgets, site engineering, permitting, scheduling and project coordination occurs from start to completion.
• Maintain relationships with public and private entities, such as Utilities, State DOTs, Solar Developers, and Army Corp of Engineers to ensure compliant, ethical practices are followed and understood throughout Zenith Tech.
• Build and maintain successful internal relationships with departments such as Executive Leadership, Legal, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Operations and Engineering.
• Develop team members to support the expanding role of Zenith Tech as it increases its geographical and functional areas.
  
  

Requirements

• 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience within the industry.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing multi-level teams.
• Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical or Structural).
• Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and drive deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
