About the company
Company website•Hospitals and Health Care
Our team of physician recruiters are located across the country and manage every step of the recruitment process; from screening/qualifying the providers, sharing information regarding our unique opportunity, scheduling onsite interviews, getting feedback from appropriate parties after the site visit and managing the contract process.
The team works closely with our C-suites, Independence Physician Management Market Directors, local physician groups and the interviewing providers to make sure they have all necessary information to make a decision.
In addition, the UHS Physician Recruitment Department offers numerous programs designed to attract new talent to our markets and help educate providers soon to graduate.
Residency and Fellowship Liaison Program: We offer a learning series to Residency and Fellowship programs that includes a number of presentations focused on CV Preparation, Site Visits, Finding the Right Practice, Understanding Contract Language, Transitioning to Practice and more.
GME Stipend Program: Due to the aging physician population and the need for physicians in the communities that we serve, UHS has created a program to provide financial assistance to residents and fellows while they are still in training.
Student Loan Repayment: In order to alleviate the strain of student loan burdens we offer a repayment program to help our providers focus on the patients, not their debts.
Annual Conferences: Every year, the recruitment team attends multiple physician and allied professional job fairs across the country. We have also been asked to speak at local and specialty specific meetings on topics such as transition into practice, labor statistics, compensation, current market trends and more.
