Schedule / Shift: Monday – Friday; EST Day Hours; 37.5 hours per week

Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000

Job Overview

As a member of the Software Development Team at Allyant, you will be working in a customer-focused, innovative, challenging and fun learning environment. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of software tools that ensure equitable access to digital, document, and printed information for people with disabilities.

This opportunity is available to candidates residing in Canada only.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop highly scalable and reliable software components
  • Prototype, design and launch new features
  • Maintain high quality, responsiveness and security of applications
  • Apply new technologies and innovation to improve platform functionality
  • Contribute to the team’s best practices and development standards

Qualifications & Skills

  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years in full stack development
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS
  • Experience with Windows environment and .NET framework
  • Proficiency with database technology such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL
  • Extensive knowledge of C#, Python
  • Experience with front libraries and frameworks such as React/Redux, Material UI, and Nodejs
  • Exceptional prototyping, testing and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong understanding of software security and secure software development
  • Abreast of software industry trends and best practices

Remote Working Requirements

  • Working space must be professional / business appropriate, free of distractions and safely maintained (as to meet safe working conditions followed on company premises).
  • A fast, stable / uninterrupted internet connection.

Physical Demands

  • Mostly sedentary, and prolonged periods of sitting and looking at a monitor screen
