What You'll Drive
- Manage increasing system complexity through effective system design, clear processes, and thorough documentation
- Identify and solve relevant platform bottlenecks before they start affecting customers
- Help other engineers level up their skills through mentoring and coaching
- Write maintainable, reliable, and testable code for the platform
- Collaborate daily with the engineering team to plan complex tasks, perform code reviews, and pair program
- You have 5+ years of experience with NodeJS, relational databases, and Kubernetes.
- You bring 3+ years of experience with TypeScript and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- You have a proven track record of mentoring and coaching other engineers.
- You possess a deep understanding of organizational and system needs as a company scales, with extensive experience in technical documentation.
- You have experience integrating 3rd-party APIs (such as payment providers or CRMs).
- You are self-motivated and adaptable, with a startup mindset focused on ownership.
- You have good spoken and written English and are located in a European timezone (Poland westward preferred) or EST to ensure good collaboration overlap with the US.
