
To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department, assisting with the daily functions and processes. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate employee records, supporting recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities, and providing basic assistance with payroll processing to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations.

Provide administrative support for the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
Coordinate the new hire onboarding process, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and ensuring all new hire paperwork is completed accurately.

Maintain physical and digital employee records, ensuring all information is up-to-date, accurate, and handled with strict confidentiality.

Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, escalating complex issues to the HR Manager as needed.

Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.

Support the payroll function by collecting and verifying timesheet data, entering payroll changes (e.g., new hires, terminations), and assisting with basic payroll queries.

Assist in the offboarding process for departing employees, including preparing termination paperwork and coordinating final pay.

Generate standard HR reports on topics such as headcount, turnover, and recruitment metrics.

Support the HR team in organizing and executing various projects, meetings, and employee engagement activities, including benefits enrollment events, company-wide gatherings, employee recognition programs, holiday celebrations, and retirement parties. Undertake additional tasks as required to support the HR function.

Perform general administrative duties for the HR department, such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.

Implement “Performance Management the Alliad Way” by setting KPI’s for direct reports (if assigned any), conduct regular reviews, identify training requirements and provide a coaching, mentoring and supportive role.

Ensures adherence to quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements in Food Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environment.

6.0 Minimum Qualifications/ Education/ Experience/ Training/ Knowledge
7.1 Education & Professional Certifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-2 years of administrative experience in a professional office setting.
- Prior experience in an HR or payroll environment is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and/or payroll software is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
