Compensation: $23 hourly

Location: Fullerton, CA

Starting Date: December 8th, 2025

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., and Wednesdays from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Exact start and end times may vary slightly depending on site needs; flexibility to start earlier or later is required.

Job Description

Apollo After School is partnering with Fullerton to offer engaging after-school programs focused on hands-on learning, social-emotional growth, and fun. We’re hiring caring, creative staff, Site Directors to lead safe, high-quality experiences for students. Join us and make a difference.

As An Apollo Site Director, Your Responsibilities Will Be

  • Provide a high-quality learning environment and manage activities that extend the school day.
  • Manage daily program operations and logistics in coordination with Apollo leadership and the school’s management team, ensuring collaboration and alignment with school policies and expectations.
  • Actively participate as a member of the school’s management team, contributing to daily coordination, planning, and problem-solving efforts.
  • Ensure the safety and security of children enrolled at all times.
  • Supervise all aspects of your site’s before and after-school program, including direct supervision of children as part of the daily staff-to-student ratio when needed.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all participants, parents, school staff, and administration. Communicate regularly with students’ parents/guardians during pick-up times, working together on student successes and challenges.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, attendance, and dismissal data (including incident and accident reports, inventory, and parent communication). Meet all data entry deadlines.
  • Gather, review, and use program data for continuous improvement and parent communication.
  • Assess and solve problems associated with the supervision of PK–8 students, ensuring smooth daily operations and high program quality.

The Requirements For Our Site Directors Are

  • Minimum of two years of experience working with school-age youth, ages 4-10 in a school/after-school setting.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in management with at least 5 employees as direct reports.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Apollo After School is comprehensive extended school day childcare program for students in grades Pre-K through 8th. We are founded around the belief that the process of education should involve all aspects of a child’s well-being… and it should also be FUN! Our extended-day and day camp programs offer our students a variety of activities to develop their physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs. Our exciting curriculum utilizes Project-Based Learning, Social-Emotional Learning, and the Socratic Method to involve our students into setting productive goals, establishing effective thinking processes, and inspiring them to become lifelong learners. We include topics such as entrepreneurship, arts and crafts, science, math, board games, physical activity, civics, storytelling and public speaking in our daily programs.
