Position Summary:

• The Shop Supervisor oversees the entire manufacturing process and ensures the assembly process complies with policies and procedures. Also works with other personnel to find cost-effective and quality materials used in the process, constantly looking for ways to cut costs and streamline processes. This is a day-shift position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervisory Responsibilities
• Planning and scheduling production activities and supervising the production process.
• Monitoring the production practices and setting the schedules as required.
• Working with managers effectively to execute the policies and goals of the organization.
• Keeping abreast of safety strategies.
• Verifies the accuracy of the bill of materials and adjusts work orders according to what was actually used.
• Reviews work completed to ensure it is up to quality standards.
• Selecting and maintaining equipment, supervising product standards, and enforcing quality-control programs.
• Ensures the shop area is clean, organized, and free of hazardous materials.
• Maintains control of inventory.
• Assembly of work orders and equipment
• Loading/Unloading of Truck and LTL Shipments
• Vehicle and trailer maintenance, service schedule, and DOT inspections

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
• 2 years’ experience in management/supervision.
• Must be proficient in MS Office applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook
