We are currently hiring for a Sales Account Manager to join our Alpharetta, GA office. This position plays a crucial role in managing and supporting our regional distribution partners and customers. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for identifying customer needs, building strong relationships, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and external partners. Success in this role requires product knowledge, problem-solving skills, clear communication, follow-up, and strong situational awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Opportunities Pipeline Management with Distributor Partners
- Lead and manage bi-weekly/monthly calls with distributor partners to track progress and address needs. This requires notetaking and updating salesforce to manage the pipeline accurately.
- Maintain and update the sales pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee forecasting and provide regular updates on production pipelines.
- Create detailed and accurate quotations for distributors.
- Identify and assess risks within the sales pipeline, take proactive measures and communicate appropriately to upper management.
- Forecast orders and align delivery expectations with distributor partners.
- Ensure the accuracy of all received orders, coordinating with the appropriate teams to fulfill them on time.
- Respond to our Orders team on agencies, configurations and any needed information.
- Report and escalate any technical issues or Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) needs.
- Schedule key meetings, presentations, and discussions with customers and distributors.
- Coordinate training sessions and onboarding processes for new distributor representatives.
- Manage all project-related documentation, including licensing, NDAs, and sole-source agreements, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Communicate upcoming data plan renewals to distributor representatives in a timely manner.
- Consolidate quotes and manage device details effectively.
- Collaborate closely with the administration team to streamline processes.
- Strong situational awareness, leadership abilities, and a sense of urgency.
