About the company

Company websiteArchitecture and Planning, Design Services, Construction

It is hard to get a job in architecture. We exist to help you get there.

The UK Built Environment is facing a massive communication gap. On one side, ambitious architects and assistants are dealing with stagnant wages, the cost-of-living crisis, and a complex qualification route. On the other side, practice directors are fighting tight margins, the liabilities of the Building Safety Act, and a chronic shortage of the right technical talent.

Architecture Social is the unfiltered guide to the industry. We reject the "corporate machine" recruitment agency model, and we do not act as "aesthetic gatekeepers" pretending the profession is just about producing beautiful imagery. Founded by an ex-industry insider who understands the realities of the drafting board, we operate as a central node of intelligence bridging the gap to the boardroom.

For Candidates (The Drafting Board):
We decode the mechanics of the business. From the 15-Second Portfolio Rule and CV engineering to accurate salary benchmarking and Part 3 survival guides, we provide the actionable career playbook you need to build a sustainable profession.

For Practices (The Boardroom):
We act as a strategic growth partner to studios adapting to the realities of practice today. We conduct hiring audits, advise on retention economics, and place top-tier technical talent. As an APSCo-accredited agency partnering with top UK studios, we understand your commercial pressures. To actively support the future of the profession, we offer a 0% fee on Part 1 Graduate placements for our existing retained partners.

Through our community platform, honest podcast conversations, and direct talent partnerships, we connect the right people to the right studios.
No fluff, just the reality of practice.
